Nash's morning
Nash gave mommy and daddy a new umbrella stroller for their 2 year anniversary today! It's beautiul and silvery! We played this morning around the kitchen, and I ran to grab the camera when Nash started crawling unto the pantry to get the pots and pans, and to look at some of the bottles with the pretty colors in them. Mojito, Margarita, or Appletini?

Nash on the Mall
We took a little trip this weekend to DC. We've been through with Nash so many times, and have been to McLean and Bethesda and Georgetown, but we were waiting for a chance to all go together before going to the National Mall and the Natural History Museum. This morning was the Marine Corps Marathon, so we took the Metro in to avoid traffic, and that was an adventure in itself. There are pictures of us on the metro, looking at Dinosaurs and bundled up walking around!

Lovin Picasa
OK I guess I'm behind the times, but Robin told me today about Picasa, Google's photo center. It's awesome. I was wondering how Gabe had all those cool collages on his blog. Now you can expect many many groovy collages on Nash's blog too. Um not much going on here. We went to the pond this morning and looked at the ducks. I'm finishing Nash's trick-or-treat bag. Still lots of crawling around and trying to stand on his own. I've been working on his baby book, and doing lots of laundry. I hear little man up from his nap now!

Long week
It's been so busy around here, it feels like I got married this weekend and not a friend. But hopefully now we're back to normal and I can get back to blogging. Because I missed Nash getting quick with his hands, our trip to the zoo, and his two new teeth that are through. Unfortunately, in addition to ignoring blog duty, I've also been ignoring cleaning duty. So I'm going to post some pictures and go clean the house. I know, I know, it's the pictures you really want to see anyway, not read. Fine. Here ya go!

No stopping us.
Did you really think I wouldn't find a way to take pictures of Nash? Since it's the first really cool day of the year, we sat outside for awhile. First on the porch this morning, then out on the deck at Legends where we had lunch with Ray, then at home in the pine needles (I already need to rake!) These pictures were taken with the video camera and the quality's not as good. But hopefully I can get my camera fixed and can use this one until then. Oh, also, went back to Old Navy again this morning. Since it was a nice cool day I wanted to put him in something warmer and found that all of his 6-12 month clothes from Old Navy are too small on him, or just fit. They let me exchange them all for 12-16 month. The outfit he has on is one of the 12-16 month. Not really too big on him at all, it'll probably fit for another month.

Sooner or later
Bad news. I was sitting at the computer with Nash on my lap and he tugged on the closest thing that was sitting on top of the desk and it was my camera and it went falling to the ground. It won't turn on, seems like it's broken. I'm pretty much in tears about it. As you can tell, I have so much fun taking pictures of him. I'm going to try and use our old camera until I figure out what else to do, hopefully that'll work. But Nash is really starting to crawl, I think he'll really have it in a few days and I usually take the videos with my camera also so I can upload them quickly. Sorry, this is a whiney blog. But I'm sad.

Halloween's soon!
Eric and Liz came over Saturday, and we decided foe entertainment we should dress Nash up in his Halloween costumes for a sneak preview. His Grammy bought him the Tigger costume when she was visiting and the other is on loan from a friend. We've got one daytime dress-baby-up party on the 29th, the 28th is Howl-o-ween where you dress up your dog and your kid and parade them around Stony Point. Then there's Halloween night. Basically, I'm planning on dressing Nash in costumes, not clothes, for about a week. But really, even though the fancy lion costume is cute with its little paw booties, I think I still prefer Tigger. Other thing going on is that I'm sick :( Nash isn't, and I'm trying really hard to keep it that way! Maryah's picking him up for a few hours, and Mom's coming to town this afternoon. I bet Nash'll get to try his first chicken soup within the next few days.

Pivot master
He's not crawling, but Nash has gotten really good at pivoting. He'll kind of lay in one place spinning himself around for awhile. He's good at getting around too though. Mocha's great with Nash. She'll usually let him swat at her face and pat her a few times, then wander off. She looks after him but keeps her distance. Caught the two of them tonight being cute. Here's some pics. In the first one, don't they look like they're getting busted for being bad?
Portrait time!
OK I want to know who voted to cut it! Email me :) I think I might just trim it a little. But not much. Getting his protrait taken tomorrow so of course he needs to look super suave. But now I don't know what outfit to put him in! Oh no! Too much cute clothes. Sad problem to have. Also I guess maybe I'll take some toys he likes... maybe I'll have his picture taken with Big Toe, his Ugly Doll! Just kidding. Anyone who has any experience with this stuff please let me know. I was thinking of a dress outfit and a play outfit. But I take so many pictures of him anyway.... Anyone have any favorites? Well, it's at 11:00 tomorrow, so email me before then. Thanks! The picture is what Nash is doing right now while I'm blogging. Just ran upstairs to take it.
