Things I forgot earlier
It's been too long since I've blogged, I meant to say more about Nash and I forgot. We noticed a few nights ago that he was very proud of himself for stacking things and setting toys on top of higher toys or table. He'll examine a toy closely and gently set it on top of something else. And then he'll kind of smack his arms by his side in excitement. Also, today I hung some toy keys from a knob on his dresser and he played for a good 10 minutes taking them off the knob and trying to put them back up. His concentration amazes me, it's definitely better than mine! Here are some pictures we just took of Nash and his baseball hat. The new development here is that he always pulls hats off of his head as soon as we put them on him. Tonight he took it off, played with it and put it back on. And repeated the same for another 5-10 minutes.
Da Dow
These days Nash has two responses to everything we say to him. Do you want more applesauce? Dada. Say Mama. Da Dow. Why won't you say Mama? Dada! It's only fun on Saturday morning when I ask, who should go to work today? DA DOW! Lack of motherly love aside, Nash is doing great. He cruises from us to the chair to the table and other chair and back again. He likes to stand alone without holding onto anything, but can't do it for very long. (He's sitting next to me while I type playing with mail and rings and handing them to Ray saying "Da dow!") Then he falls and bangs something. He handles it well though. He doesn't really dig his jumperoo anymore, it's not nearly as exciting as checking out whatever that thing is over there on the floor. He's crawling towards the stairs. Maybe it's time to teach stairs.

Big Boy Jammies
We suddenly realized one night last week that all of Nash's sleepers are too small. Yay! Shopping time! With a whole new collection of jammies, Nash is proudly displaying his first night of 2 piece pajamas. We got him a few of the footed onesies too, but it seems like they make less of them for little men his size. So here's Nash, fresh from the bath, in his new bulldog pjs.
