Brawny Tough

Nash looked so tough today after he finished his lunch. I took off his sweater because I didn't want to get it dirty so he was just wearing his little white t-shirt and jeans. Then after he finished eating black beans it looked like he had 5 o'clock shadow! He looked so much like Ray on a Saturday morning I snapped a bunch of pictures. Sophie came over to play this morning, and now it's nap time. Mommy's gonna go take a quick nap too!

FIRST STEPS

Maybe it's the Brett Michael's inspired bandana that gave Nash the confidence to lift that little foot off the ground. Whatever it was, he did it! I can't say he really walked, but 6 different time yesterday he picked up a foot and moved it forward while standing on his own. YAY little pumpkin.

Here's the birthday boy playing this morning, looking especially cute with his combed hair. Let's see, one year ago I was laid up in Henrico Doctors waiting for a perfect little baby to make his entrance. I can't even think about how wonderful this year has been without getting choked up. We have so much fun with Nash. We're so suprised and impressed by him. He is just such a great little man. Thanks everyone for checking up on his this year through the blog, we can't wait for more good times to come!

A little HI

I've been painting like crazy and cleaning to get ready for Nash's birthday party and in-laws and parents being in town. This week has been a little difficult! I've been slammed in the face with a remote control and broken a toe. But enough about me. You're here for Nash. Nash is great! The weather's been so nice so we've been sitting on the front porch and and dining al fresco. No steps without holding on just yet. Nash's birthday is the 13th- next week! We can't believe our little man is already one.
