On my toes

I get a few hours each day while the little pumpkin is sleeping to try and get rid of some of these boxes! While he's awake we're always busy, he doesn't slow down! I was exhausted last night! This morning we looked into joining the JCC and they have an awesome pool for him... and they have babysitting (for me)!!! There are some great waterparks around here, so we have more to look into. Also got Nash's haircut this morning, and I love haircut pictures.

Also, gotta love pictures of babies in sunglasses. Especially when they're this cute.

Also gotta give a big pat on the back to Leigh Emma for her first day back to work. Hugs to all friends in Richmond- we miss you!!

Helping us pick out a paint color for his new room

Going through boxes we rediscovered a cute outfit from Ray's youth, and put it on Nash to model

Crazy Days

I'm starting to wonder of things will ever slow down. Our movers are coming tomorrow... pause for a freak-out moment... deep breath... now release and shout a big OY! I feel a little better. So we've been busy and things aren't winding down. I want to cram in every second with every friend and baby in Richmond, and I don't think I'd ever have enough time to feel good about saying goodbye and going so far away. Not much choice though, at this point. I guess our next post will be from St. Louis in our new house (I haven't even thought about where we're going to put the computer!) Before then we'll be in Roanoke and Nashville, so hopefully we'll have some fun along the way.
OK on to Nash. Yes, this blog is still about him. Nash points to ears, hair, nose, eyes and belly on command, which is to say, when we ask him to, and he feels like it. He kisses cheeks (it's either very dry with no suction, or very wet). He climbs up and down stairs and loves to go down slides. He is still the loudest little thing in his new size 6 Stride Rites. But he's so totally sweet. He's becming a pickier eater, and is way into his Dada. Ray's worked from home the past few weeks to get things done on the house, and Nash has become a Daddy's boy. But he also was a good boy and bought mommy some pretty jewelry for mother's day. Smart Baby!! Nash had a checkup today and is in the 90 something percentile for height and 80 something for weight. I feel like he weighs a ton. It's a good thing he likes to walk!

Playground time

We've been having so much fun spending afternoons at the playground with Leigh-Emma and Jack. Leigh-Emma took this picture of me pushing him (and resting!) with a little onlooker too. It's great to watch him run around and get dirty and play with new things and other babies and kids there. And, of course, it's great for me to be able to sit and talk to a friend and watch him! He's gotten ambitious and likes to climb stairs and go down the slide, smiling ear-to-ear. We can't wait to get back home and resume our regular afternoon scheduled playtime!
