Getting Tutored

I thought it would be a good idea for Nash to have a tutor, someone who came over just one day a week to give him a little extra help with his homework (give me a break), help with his hand writing and anything else he needs. We've been doing this a few months and it's great. What I didn't expect was how anxious Margot is to get in on the help! She's beyond ready for kindergarten, but until she goes, she'll be getting ready with her tutor.

Birthday Traditions

A year or two ago I started making sprinkle-rimmed milk glasses for the kids birthday milk. Somewhere along the way I started blowing up balloons and putting them in the kids rooms while they sleep. These little traditions keep expanding, and for his 7th birthday Nash woke up to balloons in his room, streamers on the door, sprinkle-rimmed milk glass and a stack pancakes with a candle stuck in it. The kids love it! I'll just have to be careful not to do more than I can handle 2 times a year.

Nash's 7th birthday party!

Well, my little boy is 7 years old. How did that happen?? We went to see the brand new lego movie in 3d for his birthday party. All of bis his boys came, and it was just a blast.
