We met our friends yesterday morning in Clayton at this cute little apothacary and soda fountain, Jennifer's Pharmacy. Nash had an entire milkshake! We were supposed to share, but he had basically finished it by the time I looked up. It was a little bit of a logisitical challenge because there were only high bar stools and I had a two year old and a hungry baby and no stroller. I got inventive and camped out under the counter... The cute ladies who worked there called me the Secret Lady. Really. They gave me a nickname. I like this place.
We hung out at home today, aside from a quick trip to the store. I think my kids are over-tired from all the fun Summer outside play. I wanted to be sure all naps were in beds. Nash is sooo obsessed with cars and trucks and trains. I know all boys are. But SHEESH! When he wakes up in the morning, one of the first things he asks for is to watch the movie "Cars". Everyday when Ray comes home and asks Nash what he did today, Nash says "trains". Anyway, the boy has a nice, growing collection of cars, trucks, trains, etc. This afternoon, for a little amusement, we made a little parking lot for them all.
Margot also gets excited about cars and trucks.\I think Margot's bottom teeth will be in within the next few days, they're right under the gum! Poor girl was crying a lot today.
